What Is BCST
BCST is a healing art that works with the energies that create and maintain health in the human system. It has its roots in Osteopathy, and while not a manipulative therapy, it has evolved to include influences from advances in neuroscience, human development, spiritual embryology, pre and perinatal psychology , Peter Levines's trauma resolution, Polyvagal Theory and Epigenetics . Practitioners use an educated gentle touch to listen for and engage with the expressions of health that are ever present in the system. BCST accesses an inherent vitality in the body that helps restore health in all dimensions of well being. BCST supports the nervous system regulations and allows the resolutions of conditions resulting from stress and trauma. It augments the health that is ever present, our original blueprint. When the nervous system can be supported to discharge shock and trauma while at same time experiencing inner resource and the ability to access one’s inherent health, personal strength, wisdom and resiliency. “ A healer does not heal you. A healer is someone who holds space for you while you awaken your inner healer, so that you may heal yourself.” Maryam Hasnaa Bcst is a mediation in realtion with great potentiality for healing and embodiment.
About OUR School

Sierra Mind Body Institute is a holistic educational organization dedicated to providing high-quality, heart-centered instruction in a supportive and dynamic environment. Our body-centered, experiential classes are taught from a biodynamic perspective, with small class sizes fostering an intimate, connected community and personalized mentoring. Sierra Mind Body Institute was founded in 2020 . We are located in Grass Valley California in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Our mission is to empower students to facilitate healing in themselves and others by developing embodied biodynamic skills of presence. Through the practice of Wu wei (non-doing) and Dynamic Stillness, we teach students to cultivate a receptive, whole-being listening state. We welcome students from all backgrounds, whether they have prior bodywork experience and want to deepen their practice or are new to health and wellness. Our vision is a world where all life is valued and can coexist sustainably. Our educational approach emphasizes: An authentic, supportive, and diverse learning environment that prioritizes relational learning over demand-driven instruction. Embodied teaching methods that build confidence through felt experience. We welcome guest teachers who are experts in their fields. Training students to shift their focus from dis-ease to the inherent health and intelligence present in every body. Cultivating presence, equanimity, and compassionate, knowledgeable body-centered awareness. Honoring students' existing knowledge and helping them access deeper understanding and confidence. We strive to embody our core principles and values, including maintaining inner health, engaging with integrity and honesty, practicing respectful communication, and valuing diverse perspectives. We aim to create a safe, inclusive environment where all feelings are welcomed, and everyone's voice is heard.
